The Byò compostable knife, provide an accurate selection of the raw material and compound composition, also in function of the better and safer yield of the product in contact with food. They are certified for compliance with all types of food.

Compostable cutlery is ideal for canteens, campsites, hospitals and festivals. Disposal is easy, just throw them in to collect organic waste; in the composting plant they biodegrade in 100-180 days.

WHAT IS THE CPLA?

C.P.L.A. is the abbreviation that characterizes the P.L.A. with a crystallization process, particularly suitable for the production of products that come into contact with hot food. This process confers to the P.L.A. the ability to withstand higher temperatures, up to 85 ° C.

Products made with C.P.L.A. they are biodegradable and after having undergone the crystallization process the C.P.L.A. it changes color, and from the original transparency it becomes milky white.
